Shaw Mechanical Picked for HVAC For Gaming and Entertainment Facility
ORLANDO, FLA., October 22, 2007 – Shaw Mechanical Services, LLC announced that it secured a $1.2 million contract with Welbro Building Corporation to provide mechanical contracting services for the Daytona Beach Kennel Club Gaming and Entertainment Facility in Daytona Beach, Fla. The Shaw team is providing 300 tons of rooftop and split HVAC systems that includes one, 55-ton custom energy recovery dehumidification unit for proper IAQ humidity control for the new, two-building complex composed of a 52,700-square-foot gaming facility and an 8,700-square-foot paddock building. According to David Shaw, president, Shaw Mechanical Services, the project is due for completion in early Spring 2008.

JCJ Architecture of Hartford, Conn., designed the project for the owner, Daytona Beach Kennel Club. Mechanical engineering is provided by GRG, Inc, of Maitland, Fla.
