Shaw Mechanical Services is sweet on candy factory project
ORLANDO, Fla., September 30, 2008 — Shaw Mechanical Services LLC has secured a $300,000 contract for mechanical contracting services for Anastasia Confections Inc., an Orlando, Fla.-based specialty candy manufacturer. The Shaw team, under contract with Steve Black Construction Inc., a Maitland, Fla.-based general contractor, is responsible for full-service mechanical contracting composed of the procurement, installation, equipment start-up and commissioning of 150-tons of HVAC systems and kitchen ventilation hoods for the new 50,000-square-foot manufacturing plant. The project is being completed on a fast track, three-month schedule.
The architect is Southeastern Architectural Associates Inc., of Orlando, Fla. Eiermann Engineering Inc. of Orlando, Fla., is providing mechanical engineering.
